Safety & privacy
Vulnerable New Yorkers use this platform. Every product decision starts there.
Anonymous in public
Public profiles show a display name, borough, interests, and a short why-statement. Never a legal name, address, phone, or email.
Private verification
Identity details are stored separately, visible only to Dream Connectors, and never rendered on a public page.
No direct messaging
There is no inbox, no chat, no way to contact another member privately. Every introduction is Connector-mediated.
Neighborhood-level only
Pins are placed at borough and neighborhood level. We do not collect or display exact addresses.
Consent on both sides
Nothing is shared until both people explicitly agree to be connected. Either side can withdraw.
Human review
Dream Connectors review every dream, offer, and accessibility report before it becomes public.
Meeting someone for the first time
Never send money, share banking details, share identity documents, or give out your home address. No legitimate connection on this platform will ask for any of those.
Reporting a concern
Every dream, resource, and connection can be escalated to a Dream Connector. Flagged items are removed from public view while a human reviews them. In this prototype, flagged cases appear in the Dream Connector dashboard with a visible risk marker.
